Barnaby Harris
BA(Hons)(Cantab)
Barnaby has over 20
years experience spanning trade and technical publishing (particularly
covering Electronic Data Interchange – EDI), new media, web development,
application service provision and IT consultancy. From 2001 he
managed the IT adviser team at Business Link Devon and Cornwall for
three years, in which time he was a founder member of the ICT Supplier
Forum, Wired West.
He then went on to
spend two and a half years as Regional ICT Strategy Manager for the
South West Regional Development Agency. In this role he authored the
Agency’s current Regional ICT Strategy. This document was written in
consultation with over 60 organizations across the South West and its
purpose is to maximize the economic, social and environmental benefits
of Information and Communications Technologies across the region. During
this time Barnaby also set up and coordinated the Regional ICT Research
Group. Barnaby now manages Red
Admiral, a company that focuses on 'work without frontiers'.
Nick Flynn
MSc,
Nick’s career in ICT has spanned over 20 years. He is currently the
Managing Partner of the Mirasol Partnership, established in 1996. Prior
to this, Nick was an Associate Consultant (with a number of ‘blue-chip’
clients) for ABT International, one of the world’s leading project and
programme management consultancies.
Nick was the programme manager for the Broadband Fund Programme for the
South West Regional Development Agency, overseeing a number of
successful Broadband, ICT and Research. This also led to delivering a
number of presentations to the Australian Government on the state of UK
Broadband Implementation.
Nick sits on NWDA’s ISG (ICT) Steering Committee he is a member and
contributor to the Broadband Stakeholders Group and chairs Next
Generation Access Infrastructure meetings at dBERR
Clive Shore MBA
Clive is an experienced strategy consultant. He
was previously a Partner with Accenture’s Strategy & Business
Architecture practice and set up his own firm, Inqira Consulting in
2005. He led the Experian consulting team that supported Sir Michael
Lyons with his Civil Service Public Sector Relocation Review and he has
subsequently assisted several London-based public sector organisations
with their relocation planning, including the Standards Board for
England, the Training & Development Agency for Schools, the
Qualifications & Curriculum Authority and the Youth Justice Board.
