Broadband Access Strategies was formed in 2001. The founders had previously
worked together in a VC funded high tech start up in the broadband wireless arena.
They recognised that broadband and its capabilities was not well understood and set about
influencing the public and private sectors to join the wider broadband debate.
This drive for knowledge and understanding has continued. As the issues of access,
demographics, economic & business modelling and technology have migrated, so has the
partnership. We are now researching the drivers and uses that propel next generation access
take-up and use, the underlying issues for ICT adoption and the increasing desire by people
to use these new technologies to improve their lives, e.g. flexible and remote working.
With the addition of Mike Knuckey joining the co-founders, an industry expert in core
telecommunication networks, software design and ICT support functions, has enabled the
partnership to increase its core competencies to meet its clients' needs.
Broadband Access Strategies also works with a number of trusted associates . The exact mix of
partners and associates depends on the skills and experience required for each project
we undertake for our clients. Please click on a link below for more information on each
